- Track and Field as well as Girls Soccer will begin their seasons on April 26. That’s just two short weeks away!
- Seniors – All seniors are asked to be at LCHS in person on Monday, April 19th at 8 am to meet in the Gym for a senior photo for the yearbook. Be there or be left out of history.
- Seniors! If you are interested in purchasing a Class of 2021 Hoodie, you will need to bring $50 to the office with your last name and size by THIS THURSDAY (the 15th). The hoodies will be black, “Carhartt” brand with nothing on the back. On the front, “2021”, a picture of a panther, and your last name on the left side of the chest. If you are writing a check- make that out to Jen’s Gems, otherwise cash will be fine.
- Hello Seniors! Save the date for our 1st annual Scholarship Night! This year we will be starting a new tradition. Instead of Class Day, we will be celebrating our seniors at Scholarship Night. This change will allow students to make their college acceptances with scholarship awards in mind. The date will be Wednesday, April 28 from 7-8:30 pm in the LCHS auditorium. We are excited to be able to host this event in person! District safety measures for large group events will be adhered. Space will be limited to 4 guests per senior. Families will sit together, socially distanced 6 feet from other groups and masks will be required. More info to come. Stay tuned!
- CMC classes this week will be on-line due to an uptick in COVID cases on campus. Please check your canvas for more information. Welding, Culinary Arts, Electrical and Bike Mechanics will still meet in-person! If you are in this class, please still attend as normal.
- Volunteer Opportunity this Saturday! GOL! is looking for student volunteers to help with their Grand Opening this Saturday to facilitate some kids activities. Interested students can text Mary at: 719-293-1569. Attached is the event flyer with more details. They need helpers anytime between 10am and 6pm on April 17th.
- SAT testing for all 11th graders at 8:00 on Tuesday, 4/13
- PSAT testing for all 10th graders at 8:00 on Wednesday, 4/14
